True Grit Wetwheels Challenge 2022 – 20th March 2022
Put your fitness to the test in this 4.3km challenge through the Ronez Quarry site on Jersey’s North coast. Taking place in one of Jersey’s most unique locations, the True Grit Wetwheels Challenge is a race with a difference taking on challenging terrain, difficult climbs and navigating the Ronez machinery. The route is both fun and physical with the finish line worth the challenge with panoramic views opening out over Jersey’s stunning Northern coastline. Raising funds and awareness for the charity Wetwheels, creating safe sea access and accessible power boats for a variety of disabilities, the challenge is a thrilling experience for an exceptional cause.

Jersey Pearl Spring Market – 10th April 2022
The Jersey Pearl Spring Market is one of the biggest Jersey events on the island for small, local businesses. Showcasing the talents and products of Jersey’s best independent traders, Jersey Pearl in St Ouen hosts a one day only Spring market with incredible exhibitors. The ideal place to pick up some Easter goodies and experience a Springtime vibe, the Jersey Pearl Spring Market celebrates the creativity of the island with this popular craft event.
Gran Fondo Jersey – 24th April 2022
The inaugural event of the Gran Fondo Jersey that has been postponed since 2020 will hit the island with a bang in April 2022 hoping to become a permanent fixture on Jersey’s annual sporting calendar. The first ever Gran Fondo in Jersey is the ultimate cycling event with a long-distance route across the island that is yet to be determined. The Gran Fondo Jersey will be the first major mass participation cycling event the island has witnessed and is set to be the start of an exciting tradition in Jersey’s cycling community.
Trail Monkey Double Top Ultra Marathon – 30th April 2022
Taking endurance to new levels, the Trail Monkey Double Top Ultra Marathon is Jersey’s ultimate running challenge. Taking on 40 miles with a time limit of 12 hours, the Ultra Marathon has solo and relay options to experience this physically demanding event. Tackling the North coast twice, the challenge begins at St Catherine’s Breakwater and takes the coastal path all the way to Grosnez and back again. The event is designed to push you to your limits whilst admiring the beautiful sights on Jersey’s North coast.

Liberation International Music Festival – 8th to 15th May 2022
The 14th Liberation International Music Festival takes place in May 2022, an event celebrating the liberation, people and music of Jersey. Showcasing local musicians as well as welcoming internationally renowned names, the Liberation International Music Festival boasts an eclectic music mixture to satisfy every music taste. This year’s lineup includes Vivaldi’s Four Seasons performed by the Jersey Chamber Orchestra as well as other Jersey’s favourites and international solo artists.
Liberation Day 2022 – 9th May 2022
Commemorating the liberation of the islands from Nazi occupation at the end of WWII, Liberation Day is Jersey’s national day and biggest public holiday. An action-packed event featuring parades, live music, re-enactments and so much more, concluding with a spectacular fireworks display in St Helier over Elizabeth Castle. The first round-the-island cavalcade will also embark on its inaugural procession following postponement from 2021. This year’s event is set to be big, marking the first traditional celebration following two years of virtual events.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend – 2nd to 5th June 2022
The year of 2022 is a big one for the British Monarchy with the Queen celebrating her platinum jubilee with exciting events across the British Isles. Celebrated with five different events across the weekend, Jersey is set to honour Queen Elizabeth’s reign as the first British monarch to reach 70 years of service. The action packed weekend will include a 21-gun salute from the Jersey Militia, the lighting of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon in Glacis Field, a live screening of the Buckingham Palace concert and live music, entertainment and food across St Helier.
Jersey International Motoring Festival Pageant – 3rd June 2022
An exciting event part of Jersey’s The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend celebrations, the Jersey International Motoring Festival Pageant is set to be the biggest and best ever after a two year hiatus. Taking over the People’s Park in St Helier, the largest motoring event in the Channel Islands boasts favourite cars from the motoring community as well as famous, historic vehicles from the international motorsports world. The festival is one of the best classic car shows in Europe with a programme that includes fascinating roadshows, competitive sprints and challenging hill climbs as well as music, food and entertainment around the event.
Barclays Jersey Boat Show – 10th to 12th June 2022
This year’s Barclays Jersey Boat Show is celebrating its 14th anniversary and returns after a two year absence on the island. The event remains the largest free public event in the Channel Islands attracting over 30,000 visitors every year. Taking place around St Helier Marina, the Jersey Boat Show showcases the local marine industry with a wealth of motor boats and yachts on display as well as offering exciting demonstrations, an abundance of exhibitors and live entertainment and the weekend’s lineup also includes Royal Navy tours. The 2022 event has an incredibly exciting line up and is set to return with an almighty splash.
Sunset Concerts 2022 – 17th to 18th June 2022
Overlooking St Ouen’s Bay, the annual Sunset Concerts are held in the spectacular, natural setting of the Grantez headland. A National Trust for Jersey arts and culture event, the Sunset Concerts 2022 showcase phenomenal live music on the Summer Solstice and is a much-anticipated event by music lovers. The Sunset Concerts are completely eco-friendly events raising funds for the Coastline Campaign with a leave nothing but footprints message. This welcoming event is open to all the family, including any four-legged friends, so pack up some blankets, a picnic and maybe a bottle of wine to enjoy this musical Summer evening. The event is completely free and takes place at sunset, an exciting event marking the long, warm evenings of the Summer.
Jersey Style Awards 2022 – 23rd June 2022
Jersey’s most prestigious awards are the ultimate celebration of Jersey heritage, culture and design. Showcasing the phenomenal work of leading local businesses, top retailers and iconic names, the Jersey Style Awards honours and celebrates local and international fashion houses of all sizes. This lavish event welcomes some of the biggest names in the fashion and entertainment industries with past VIP attendees including Professor Green, Alesha Dixon and Julien McDonald. The awards also honour the unique style of a high profile individual with past recipients including style icon Pam Hogg and the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey. However, the event is not only a recognition of the fashion industry, Jersey’s restaurants, attractions, hotels and many other categories are also part of the grand event celebrating creativity and artistry in all areas.
Colour Festival 2022 – 25th June 2022
One of the most fun and vibrant events across the world, the Colour Festival is a celebration of life. Jersey’s Colour Festival 2022 is an exciting event hosted by Family Nursing and Home Care held in St Aubin’s Bay. The main event of the festival is the Colour Run, a 5km run or walk in which participants pass through 5 colour stations and showered with different brightly coloured powdered paints. End the event with a colourful party, letting your hair down as the DJ pumps out the tunes.

Out-There 2022 – 2nd to 3rd July 2022
The all day dance event Out-There is returning to Jersey in 2022 for its fourth instalment. This unmissable event will be held in the ‘Valley of the Unknown’, a unique destination and natural setting at Val de la Mare in St Ouen. This electric dance event hosts a world-class lineup of DJs and performers across three stages showcasing house, disco and drum and bass music. Whilst the lineup is yet to be announced, Out-There will undoubtedly be the best party of the Summer.
Awakening Festival 2022 – 16th July 2022
The unique wellness festival designed to refresh mind, body and soul will take over Jersey in July 2022. With a lineup of some of the UK’s best ‘wellbeing’ gurus including wellness professional Richie Norton and renowned nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert, the Awakening Festival is the first wellness festival Jersey has witnessed. By day, the festival offers an abundance of workshops, live music, yoga sessions and even spa treatments then come nightfall, the party kicks in with exceptional music, food and cocktails.
Good Vibrations Surf Festival – 16th-17th July 2022
The retro-themed surf festival returns to Jersey in 2022 with surfing contests, beach sports and live bands in St Ouen’s Bay. The Good Vibrations Surf Festival is in aid of the charity Mind Jersey and is all about ‘good vibes’ featuring mental health workshops and promoting social connection in addition to thrilling sporting events and fantastic music. To complete the event, The Watersplash hosts a buzzing evening event guaranteed to get you in a good mood.
Accuro Jersey Triathlon – 17th July 2022
Held at Jersey’s iconic waterfront in St Helier, the Accuro Jersey Triathlon takes in some of the island’s best sights. With a 750m swim in front of Elizabeth Castle, a challenging 40km cycle around the West of the island and a 5km run around St Helier Marina, the Accuro Jersey Triathlon is one of the most picturesque triathlon courses in the British Isles. The Jersey Triathlon hosts five different events including standard, team relay and junior challenges set against the stunning Jersey backdrop.

Jersey Battle of Flowers – 11th to 12th August 2022
Jersey Battle of Flowers is one of the biggest annual events in the Channel Islands. A spectacular day of vibrant colour, exquisite flowers and phenomenal entertainment, Jersey Battle of Flowers is one of the best floral carnivals in Europe. Large colourful floats create the ultimate carnival atmosphere with vivid hand flowered designs, striking costumes and superb theming. This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever with 2022 marking the milestone 120th anniversary of the first staging of Jersey Battle of Flowers.

Jersey Regatta – 1st to 4th September 2022
One of Jersey’s most famous and popular sporting events, the 24th edition of the Carey Olsen Jersey Regatta arrives in St Helier in September 2022. This lively, three-day social event boasts three days of racing for cruisers, day boats, sport catamarans, sports boats and dinghies. In addition to numerous exciting boating events and welcoming both local and visiting boats, the Jersey Regatta also features windsurfing classes, club events and an activities programme to delight boating enthusiasts.
Breca Swimrun – 3rd September 2022
The Channel Islands’ very first swimrun race, Breca Swimrun will host its initial Jersey event in 2022. Racing around Jersey’s dramatic coastline, the Breca Swimrun will see teams battling some of the most challenging waters as they take on Jersey’s famous waves, some of the highest in the world, with the dramatic tides creating an ever-shifting course. Participants can choose from the 20km sprint or the 53km full event which includes a total of 9 runs on the island’s rugged coastline and 8 swims through Jersey’s tricky waters.
The Weekender Festival – 3rd to 4th September 2022
The annual multi-genre music festival The Weekender takes over Jersey for two days in September. The exciting weekend is packed with entertainment, activity and music with a lineup that spans the decades. Welcoming today’s biggest names, pop legends and old-school classics, The Weekender Festival is Jersey’s ultimate music event. With a menu of fun and interactive activities also on offer including talented street performers, silent discos and the official Weekender Picnic, The Weekender is the ideal music festival for all the family.
Jersey International Air Display – 8th September 2022
The skies above St Aubin’s Bay burst into life during the Jersey International Air Display with an exceptional air display dancing just above your head. The annual event is the finest free air show in Europe with a spectacular selection of aircrafts to admire, welcoming aircrafts from across the world as well as locally and many RAF aircraft. The air display is also supported by two land-based air displays at Jersey Airport and in St Helier providing visitors with an up close vantage point of several magnificent aircrafts.
PRIDE Jersey – 10th September 2022
The Channel Islands PRIDE event is a week-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community which begins in Guernsey on 3rd September and concludes with a bang in Jersey on 10th September. PRIDE Jersey will be the ultimate celebration in 2022 following two years of virtual events and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Pride event and LGBTQ+ protest in the British Isles. The ultimate carnival event celebrating diversity and individuality, PRIDE Jersey is one of the most vibrant and electric events of the year featuring parades, live music and dancing in the streets. Every year, Jersey’s PRIDE event is bigger and better than the last so expect great things in 2022.
Electric Park 2022 – 24th September 2022
Jersey’s charged one-day music festival takes over The People’s Park with the most exciting line-up of live music. Whilst the 2022 headliners are yet to be announced, previous lineups have featured Manic Street Preachers, Scouting For Girls, Razorlight and Deadmau5. After debuting in 2019, the event rose quickly in popularity and is already one of Jersey’s most anticipated events with 2022 only its third edition.

The Corn Riots Harvest Festival – 30th September to 2nd October 2022
An epic festival commemorating the anniversary of the Corn Riots that changed Jersey’s society over 250 years ago, The Corn Riots Harvest Festival is Jersey’s most wholesome celebration honouring the spirit of harvest. An inter-parish petanque tournament is part of the event, a fascinating parade cruises through St Helier’s Royal Square and a wider programme of events is also available. With a programme featuring dance workshops, art exhibitions and theatre performances as well as educational talks, live music and craft markets, The Corn Riots Harvest Festival is a humble, relaxed affair.
Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon – 2nd October 2022
Jersey’s annual marathon event attracts over 2500 participants with more than half of the runners travelling from off the island. One of the most scenic marathon events in Europe taking in the stunning sights of the island, the Jersey Marathon is a firm favourite with avid runners. The event is split into three categories welcoming all ages and abilities with a thunderous atmosphere cheering you along as you challenge yourself. The Jersey Marathon is said to be ‘a small race with a very big atmosphere’ and experienced runners return to the island over and over again to compete within such a welcoming environment and receive an incredibly supportive reception.
La Faîs’sie d’Cidre – 15th to 16th October 2022
Jersey’s annual cider festival, La Faîs’sie d’Cidre, is the most popular food and drinks festival in the Channel Islands. Returning this October to the Hamptonne Country Life Museum, La Faîs’sie d’Cidre is the highlight of the Autumn months and celebrates Jersey’s cider production, rich heritage and incredible community. The event is led by phenomenal apple and cider experts sharing their wealth of knowledge on the product and production process. Held in a museum dedicated to Jersey’s rural history, the venue also showcases the traditional method of cider making with authentic apple crushers. Of course, tasting is all part of the experience with a delicious and unique selection of incredible ciders making an appearance.

The Genuine Jersey Simply Christmas Markets – 26th November to 6th December 2022
Invading St Helier’s Royal Square for 10 days in the run up to Christmas, The Genuine Jersey Simply Christmas Markets are the perfect way to begin the festive period. Showcasing over 50 traders, Simply Christmas is the ideal place to pick up unique gifts from local artisans and crafters. As well as an abundance of incredible and distinctive gift items on offer, the event features festive treats, live music and Yuletide activities filling you up with Christmas spirit. The maze of stalls is open throughout the day and long into the evening with late night shopping hours ensuring no one misses out on the festive magic.

The Battle of Flowers Christmas Parade – 12th December 2022
Following Jersey’s most colourful and vibrant carnival event earlier in the year, The Battle of Flowers returns with festive spirit for the annual Battle of Flowers Christmas Parade. A parade of festively themed twinkling floats cruises through the streets of St Helier in the Winter edition of Jersey’s oldest festival. This free family-friendly event features intricately designed floats of iconic Christmas characters and symbols including gingerbread houses, snow scenes and of course, the main man, Santa Claus. The beautiful Battle of Flowers Christmas Parade is accompanied by incredible entertainment including carolers and live Christmas music. This event is a must during the festive period bringing joy and Christmas cheer to our small island.
The Norman Christmas Market – 13th to 19th December 2022
Back by popular demand, Jersey’s incredible French Christmas market returns in 2022, a special event showcasing the spectacular Norman products. Perfect as festive gifts, the market boasts an abundance of delicious French food and drink with products like honey, nougat and cheese, all popular present ideas and perfect hamper items. Market-goers can indulge in delicious French goodies and enjoy warm waffles, crepes and sausages during their wanderings through the stalls. Hot Normandy apple cider is also an offering at The Norman Christmas Market, the perfect beverage to warm you up on cold Winter’s nights. The event is only a week long in the run up to Christmas so make sure you don’t miss out.
