Grouville Bay

The Royal Bay of Grouville is a long and wide expanse of soft sand that runs along the entire south-eastern coast of Jersey. While more commonly known by locals as ‘Long Beach’ Grouville Bay gained its regal title after a visit by Queen Victoria in 1859.

The popular long stretch of sandy beach at Grouville Bay is safe for bathing and ideal for many activities, especially water sports.

Water skiing, wakeboarding, canoes, banana rides, speedboat trips all take place, and motor dinghies are available to hire during July and August.

There is a good sized car park to provide good access to the beach, and Grouville Bay is safe bathing at all times.
