Best of St Aubin’s Bay

St Aubin’s Bay is a beautiful three mile long bay that covers the central part of Jersey’s south coast, stretching from St Helier to St Aubin.

The long expanse of unbroken sandy beach is South facing and is in full sun along almost the entire length from sunrise to sunset.  St Aubin’s Bay has soft, golden sand along the entire length of the beach and only at the highest of tides is all of the sand covered, and even then it dries out quickly after the tide retreats.

Due to St Aubin’s Bay’s length, the beach rarely becomes crowded except in the high season when the spots close to the main car parks get busy.  Just a short stroll will lead to an un-crowded stretch of sand however.  Very safe for bathing at all states of the tide and rough conditions are very rare.

St Aubin’s Bay is popular with water-skiers and windsurfers with water-skiing tuition available from the Jersey Sea Sport Centre on La Haule Slip, as well as jet skis available for hire.  The parking facilities are extensive – along the full length of the bay, offering immediate access to the beach.
