The surfing paradise of strong rolling waves and miles of beautiful sandy beach make St Ouen’s beach the best of its kind.
Covering most of the west coast, 5 miles from end to end, St Ouen’s Bay was classed a Marine Conservation Society Recommended Beach in 2008 and has plenty of room and facilities for everyone. It is one of Jersey’s busiest beaches yet never feels crowded due to the vast space.
With many international surfing competitions held here it is a must visit place for the keen surfer due to offering some of the best surfing in Europe. There is extensive car parking space, a number of public toilets and a large café at Le Braye. Poor swimmers should be aware of the strong currents and obey the warning signs and flags.
